Strike a Pose Smoothie

"This smoothie is a Sunday morning special at my place. Its like a berry, mango, coconut dessert - my little boy slurps it up. The frozen mango and coconut make it a really yummy and fresh. I buy a crate of mangoes in summer and freeze the chunks for winter." – Sigourney Cantelo.

 

Ingredients

1/2 a cup of Apple Juice
1 cup of Water
1/2 a Lebanese Cucumber
1/2 a Kiwifruit (skin included) 
1 small handful of organic Baby Spinach 
1 small Carrot (unpeeled)
2 frozen Mango cheeks 
1 tbs of desiccated/flaked Coconut 
1 tbs of Maqui/ Acai Berry Powder
1 small handful of Ice

 

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into the Vitamix wet jug container in the order listed.
  2. Secure the lid and select Variable Speed 1.
  3. Turn on the machine and quickly increase speed to Variable Speed 10, then to High.
  4. Using the tamper if necessary, blend for 1 minute or until smooth.
